So, out of the last post, I took to the internet to seek out models of giving. In so doing, I found this Bible verse:

Luke 6:38 – Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Inquistively, I opened up the chapter around the verse to seek some additional “how to’s” and to see if there might be further explanation of the term “measure you use”.

Wondering if this verse fits?

Luke 6:35 – But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back.

Oops! This “without expectation” throws quite a wrinkle into measurement. Looks like back to the drawing board….unless the FREE model is really just a faithful exercise of giving?

An exercise where we give in overflowing super abundant measure without expectation and then one day awaken to find it coming back to us?

What if some of these new FREE marketing/finance models just happened to accidently stumble into an age old principle of an infinite giving model?
