Two years ago, we took a little venture down to San Pedro on Ambergris Caye in Belize. This was a real flyer in our minds. But, we figured that it couldn’t hurt to go spend a couple of days at the beach and have some fun exploring a foreign place. What was the worst that could happen? Come home having found that we wasted our time by wasting our time?

Here was the overheard stat that took us off to this course: 80% of the real estate transactions on Ambergris Caye were purchases made by U.S. citizens from Texas. Really? We just had to check it out.
