Follow your dreams. Chase after them. Make them happen. The world is your oyster. You can have it. Especially if you’re American. The very title of THE dream marketed says it is so for Americans.
What happens though when your dream of what is the dream and someone else’s dream of what is the dream collide? Or diverge? Or seem to be heading in totally opposite directions?
For example, it seems that Trump has a dream that he is chasing. It seems that Clinton has a dream that she is chasing. It seems that Gates has a dream that he is chasing. It seems that nearly every person has a dream they are chasing.
Are their dreams sufficient to incorporate our dreams? Are their dreams just flat wrong? Should someone organize a dream protest? Now that sounds nothing at all like a good dream. At least not from this perspective. But perhaps, there is a someone that dreams of protesting dreams all day. This someone should probably go for it.
Right?
It can be quite confusing. There’s no doubt that there has to be a stop put to working so hard for all the wrong reasons.
But, might this mean that we have to find the right dream to chase after first?
