Exile of the Vagrant Harlot

Running Away

Exile granted
Your prayer answered
Receive your heart’s desire
All the paper you can eat
Reams and reams of stuffing

You never cease to plead
More paper
More paper
More paper god

Paper god will secure
Paper god will satisfy
Paper god will build heavenly towers
All hail paper god!

You never cease to chatter
Oh, paper god is so handsome
Oh, paper god is so strong
Oh, paper god is almighty

You never cease to ask
Can paper god come too?
Can paper god partner with us?
Will paper god be there?

You never cease to moan
Don’t leave paper god
Don’t forget paper god
How will paper god feel?

No more
Have your way
Have your true love
Go to him

No more
Pimping me out
Covering your true motive
To be with paper god

Such the wayward bride
Always concerned with your appearance
Make-up caked to cover your lies
Begging for more allowance

Never satiated insanity
Take the leave you request
Go away and come to see what you’ve left
Go away and follow him

No more
Pimping me out
Covering your true motive
To be with paper god

Exile granted
Off you go to bankrupt emptiness
Off you go to the inflation of puffery
Off you go to serve your master

Such longing for the vagrant harlot
But she would not receive
For she chose the wilderness
Forgoing the promised One
